having difficulty using iphone hot spot for my mac book pro
The steps I see on line do not work for me. I have connected with Bluetooth. Then it quits when I am idle. Then it won’t connect.

Those directions don't seem to navigate to the point that works. on mh iPhone I activate the hot spot. On m MacBook Pro I go to wifi and turn it off. I don't see any option to click to click on the hot spot. I need more help
you will be using Wi-Fi, so Wi-Fi needs to be ON.
when you click on the Wi-Fi icon on the Menubar, One of the choices offered will be for your hotspot.
choose the Hotspot as the Wi-Fi network to connect to.
Not bluetooth.
