How to install Nvidia GTX1060 6G on 2009 Mac Pro running High Sierra in 2024
I'm using 2009 Mac Pro (flash Boot ROM 144.0.0.0.0 ), my working steps:
- Install HD and Nvidia GT120 graphic card on Mac Pro. (I'm using OWC 1m2 pci-card with Kingston A2000 1T m.2 ssd)
- Setup high sierra boot usb. (just follow Apple website's suggestion)
- Install high Sierra.
- Make your OS up to date.
- Download Nvidia WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg from Nvidia official website.
- HDMI connect to GT120, GTX1060 plug in mainboard too.
- Startup High Sierra, check "about this Mac", -> "system report" -> graphic card. if there is showing your GTX1060, CONGREGATION!
- Remove GT120.
Any magnate know if it's OK to upgrade to Mojave?
