How to install Nvidia GTX1060 6G on 2009 Mac Pro running High Sierra in 2024

I'm using 2009 Mac Pro (flash Boot ROM 144.0.0.0.0 ), my working steps:

  1. Install HD and Nvidia GT120 graphic card on Mac Pro. (I'm using OWC 1m2 pci-card with Kingston A2000 1T m.2 ssd)
  2. Setup high sierra boot usb. (just follow Apple website's suggestion)
  3. Install high Sierra.
  4. Make your OS up to date.
  5. Download Nvidia WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg from Nvidia official website.
  6. HDMI connect to GT120, GTX1060 plug in mainboard too.
  7. Startup High Sierra, check "about this Mac", -> "system report" -> graphic card. if there is showing your GTX1060, CONGREGATION!
  8. Remove GT120.

Any magnate know if it's OK to upgrade to Mojave?
