book widget doesnt show covers anymore

I have the books widget on my Ipad Air. There was an update to 17.4.1 and after this update I don’t see the covers of my books anymore in the widget. The book still opens like before.

iPad books app after iOS 16.3.1 After installing iOS 16.3.1, the books app lost almost all functionality. The print size became microscopic in all the books and could not be enlarged as most of the features, such as print size, background lighting etc., were gone. Is there a fix available or on the way? I'm switching to Glose and Kindle for now, but most of my library is on iBooks and is currently unusable.

Book covers don’t display in Books iOS 13.1.3 I added a couple of new .epub books to my Book Library on my Macbook Air (OS Catalina). The cover art is displayed nicely. When I open the Books app on iPad (iOS 13.1.3), the books are not displaying the same cover. A blank generic cover with the book title only is displayed. These books are stored in iCloud. Why is the correct book cover not displaying in iOS? Other books previously added are displayed properly.
