How to fix Mac freezing when accessing keychain password during Turbo tax time

Turbo Tax is asking for the keychain password when I go to that keychain, everytime I click on "show password" or right click to copy onto my clipboard, it freezes right away. Then I never stops doing the spinning circle of death. I have to force shut down my computer to get out of it.

I'm just trying to do my taxes. Why is this security features such a nightmare?

Help please

Troubleshooting Keychain Freezing:

A. Try Keychain on Another Device:

Access Keychain on another device that is signed into he same account.

B. Boot in Safe Mode:

While booted in Safe Mode, certain settings and preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are sometimes fixed. So, boot in Safe Mode and try accessing the Keychain.
