We might be able to help you if you tell us what model iPhone you own and what the current iOS version is on your iPhone.
Go to Settings > General > About - See Model and Version and report back.
But be advised if you own an iPhone 7 or older, Netflix for example requires an iPhone capable of iOS 16. That means you need an iPhone 8 or newer to be able to download Netflix or a number of other apps.
