Shortcuts using repeat function

I’m using Siri to control my tv for basic functions, turning on/off etc.

i’m looking to tell siri to lower the tv voice using variable input.

the input goes inside a loop,

i’m having trouble lowering the voice down more then once.

When i tell siri to lower the voice “x” times it will perform it only once, but when i activate it manually using shotcuts, i enter the desired number and it works just fine, repeats “x” times.

The shortcut:

Ask for *Number* with “how much do you want to lower”

Repeat Provided input

Run *Runs the function lower the voice*

(Function is using Smartlife)

only way i could make it as a loop is when i pressed on confirm every time.

What can i do to make it work?

It seems that the shortcut is just 2 actions, one specific to SmartLife, the other a generic Wait action. I'm not sure what the first action does but my guess is that you could move those 2 actions directly into the Repeat loop in the first shortcut. There is no need to call another shortcut from there if you don't use the second shortcut independently from the first.

As a test, I created a shortcut named Lower The Voice and Siri ran it as expected. You wrote: "my native isn’t english" — so try changing the shortcut's name to something Siri can more easily recognise. (But not beginning "Hey Siri, ".)

Won’t have a diffrence, when i don’t use hey siri as base to the action , the input i give her is something she will search on the web.

and in addition, when i’m activating siri without saying ‘hey siri’, it still lowers the voice only by one.

it seems like it won’t make the loop more then once.

maybe it’s realted to the confirmation it’s looking for after the action has been done “show when run” is off, otherwise it will look for confirmation each time it activates.
