Why do I have 3 boot drives on my Mid 2010 Mac Pro?

My Mac Pro (Mid 2010)is being glitchy. When I try to repair permissions in CleanApp, I see not only the SSD boot drive, but 2 additional drives with "SSD@snap-" and some numbers following. Restarting has made them go away, but how do I stop this in the future?

Disk Utility just freezes, so I tried that work around. It's removed now.

Went into repair mode, Disk Utility, and am restoring from Time Machine back-up now.

(It wouldn't let me reinstall my Mohave OS)

Hopefully this will help, or I guess I'll be replacing a corrupted drive,.
