Automatic / uncontrollable scrolling in Finder / Browser windows

Hello,

I have a 2012 Mac Pro (5,1) on OS 10.13.6. I'm experiencing a recent issue where any window I point my cursor will scroll automatically and I have no control to stop it. This happens with any finder or browser windows. Also if I command+Tab to switch between apps, the selection will spin also uncontrollably. Reset will temporarily stop the issue, but it comes back after 15-30 minutes of activity.

I have been using a Contour RollerMouse for the past 6 months, but I de-installed the driver and went to a regular Apple mouse. The issue still continued. Also tried resetting PRAM, but issue still persists.

Any advice or help from community would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Windows

I’m using a wired USB Apple Keyboard with number pad, the standard one. I switched it out with another one to see if a stuck key may be the case, but issue still continues.

Do you know if there is an application or way to monitor any keyboard activity to see if the keyboard is the culprit? The odd thing is that after a restart the issue goes away, but alway comes back after 15-20mins of being on.
