If you are using Safari, restart in Safe Mode and clear your Safari web site history.

If not, Force Quit the web browser and follow that web browsers directions for clearing the web site history.

Only Criminals [attempt to] Lock your computer, to scare you into compliance.

NEVER respond to the BOGUS phone numbers provided by those criminals.

close the Browser window

Quit the Browser

Force Quit the Browser ...Command-Option-Escape to get force-quit window

Restart your computer

emergency uncontrolled Power-Down your computer with the Power button for 10 seconds

when Recovering:

holding shift will avoid loading previously-opened items

If using Safari, simply restart your computer and hold the Shift key while launching Safari again.
