problem with slow repeat of delete key our any backward motion

Question

When I delete the key moves very slowly. Any time I need to repeat a movement it movers very slowly.

How of I change that?

Go to Apple > System Preferences/Settings > Keyboard and adjust the Key Repeat slider towards Faster.

You need to adjust the "Key repeat rate" Faster and the "Delay until repeat" Shorter.

For Ventura and Sonoma

For Monterey and earlier.

I did what is required but the selection for slow/fast cannot be accessed. The Key repeat shows: Delay until repeat. I can't change that! Help!@
