I just typed a reply for a post , saw a spinning wheel and it wasn't in the thread .
It takes some effort and time to post a reply … it's agitating to see that it needs a do-over .
What's up with that ?

Sometimes the forum is like that. I'm not sure anyone, even the Hosts, know exactly why.
You can try refreshing the page. Sometimes the post will show up. You can try hitting the reply button again and sometimes you'll get the notice that there is a draft available.
And sometimes, you just have to retype things.
I would try again (after refreshing the page).
The typical reason for this would be a page edit that occurred before you posted.
