How to fix Apple iCloud storage insufficiency?

I’m paying Apple for extra storage every month ($9.99 I think or something like that) and for 3 months straight there’s been multiple times where Apple tells me I don’t have enough storage. Anyone have this experience or know what to do?

If you thought buying more iCloud storage, would add storage to your iPhone, it CAN'T. Device Storage on your iPhone was fixed at purchase. If your iPhone is 64GB for example, it will ALWAYS be a 64GB device. All buying more iCloud Storage does is give you more space in the cloud for backups.

If you are out of space on your device, the only way to get space back is to delete things you don't need or use, such as Photos, Email, Apps, Music, Files, Messages, etc.
