Hi all,
I just got my new Apple Studio Display today from an Amazon purchase. Now I want to add Apple Care + to it, but when I enter the Displays Serial number into the Apple Care site it says... "It looks like that device isn't eligible for AppleCare+."??
What am I doing wrong?

Probably best to discuss this AppleCare+ purchase with Apple Support.
Keep the packaging, too. At least until this AppleCare+ is sorted.

As an update,
Apple Support helped me buy the Apple Care+ online for 3 years. They had to reset the purchase date on my serial number for some reason. Probably because they did not know the purchase date of the item I guess, which was 31 July).
Glad it is cover fully now, thanks all. :)
In the first place the first thing you did wrong was buying Apple devices from Amazon which that platform is not a official Apple Store and if the serial numbers shows that is because that device it’s a second hand used display
Hello~ I agree with *Ozzie1910* on this issue. You always take a chance buying outside of Apple or an Authorized Apple Reseller. Even if you verify the serial number it can be a fake or outside of the original purchase date that AppleCare could have been purchased. You need to take this up with Amazon.

I have a support call at 12:30 with Apple. Ive read a few people have had these issues and had to go through support to buy Apple Care +.
You also have a full money-back return option with Amazon - have finger on trigger if the support call goes nowhere. Good luck!

It is brand new, fully sealed with all the Apple box seals. I had no choice, I had Amazon vouchers from work to use. I always buy from Apple Store usually.

Whatever you buy online looks brand new but isn’t because it’s repackaged, you had to verify the serial number before
hmmmm, well I paid full price for the new one and its Amazons Apple Store page.
That is not Amazon Apple Store and I’d not a brand new device
I can not buy apple care+ for my new studio display I purchased from Amazon (with Amazon vouchers)
