select a topic option to choose a different topic disappears

trying to create a post about using this communities dialog box and can not quite decide what topic the question falls under so i click around and prematurely select other apple application and services then the option to choose a different topic disappeared. so that is where that question about spell check in this community ended up because i could not change it.


how do you handle in this event?

Once posted, the topic (=sub-forum) is set. Only the moderators can change it then.

You may use the (!) button on the right to report a thread or post to the moderators, with a request to Relocate a Post. Use the (!) button at the top if the issue is about the whole thread. Use the (!) button next to a reply, if the report is about that single reply. Use the Additional Comments box for addition info, such as your suggestion where you think it would be listed best instead.

Someone else might do that for you, if they think it would be better suited somewhere else. That happens quite regularly, especially in the “Using the Community” topic.
