Just be advised that method (reading numbers to some random stranger over the phone, or even typing them in to a computer) is far less secure and far more inconvenient that simply adding that card to your Wallet.
You need to look for the Apple Pay logo and symbol on the website. Some browsers don’t support Apple Pay very well and may not display the process very well. What website or merchant app are you using?
