Re: Bluetooth drops hearing aids connection
As: "Hearing device disconnects unexpectedly
- When using your hearing device, make sure that your paired Apple device remains nearby.
- If your hearing device is paired with more than one Apple device, it might switch (hand off) to the other Apple device when it detects an incoming call on that device, or when you start playing audio on the other device.
You can control this by changing the Audio Handoff setting in Hearing Devices settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Check the battery level of your hearing device. You might need to replace or recharge the batteries."

Seems others have also experienced problems ... you are not alone, and not all solutions work for everyone.
Some, in the community, seem to have solved the issue themselves, while others have had no success as yet.
Some possible solutions:
Check the Settings to make sure your hearing aids are listed correctly, and are available there, for connection.
Check: Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices controls.
✽ Turn Bluetooth off, wait a few seconds, and turn bluetooth back on.
✽ Restart iPhone to re-establish the connection. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
✽ Solution below (for re-connection issues) was posted in another discussion thread:
(Worked for some who tried it, but also did not work for others.)
Bluetooth issues on my iPhone adter iOS 1… - Apple Community
.
turn off wifi
turn off cellular
turn off bluetooth
turn on Bluetooth only
connect to Bluetooth device
turn on wifi
turn on cellular
✽ Guessing you would have checked with your hearing-specialist or the hearing-aid manufacturer (Eg: contact "support" on their website) for a possible hearing-aid firmware update, or, if you use an app, an app update.
✽ Keeping iOS version up-to-date can be important. (ie: Check in Settings > General > Software updates )
(NB: Before updating, it is wise to back up your data)

"If I move the phone around it will reconnect"
✽ In these situations iPhone may need to be moved closer to hearing-aids in order to remain connected ?
✽ Else: You may want to send feedback to those who work behind-the-scenes at Apple.
They will likely not reply, yet your feedback will reach those who can make changes (eg: in a future update).
