Swtiching iphone gps sharing to ipad gps location when both are already tracked.

How can I changed my shared gps location of my iphone to the gps location of my ipad, when both are already tracked, to not notify those the locations are shared with that I switched devices?

I'm in a situation where all apple devices have their gps locations shared, but I need to hide my gps location on my phone without notifying the person its shared with. If I set the ipad to be my location in place of my phone, does find my shared devices reveal both items as the ipad, or say the iphone is just with the ipad?
