My iCal on my Mac is missing 90% of my events since upgrading to Sequoia. I've tried refreshing calendars and restoring to a previous calendar through iCloud. Still most items are missing. This is beyond annoying. What can be done?

Updated to Sequoia 15.01, now my calendar is all jumbled up and events overwritten, can’t open any events previous to the upgrade, and have lost all future events I had already entered. Tried the solutions above, no dice, still jumbled, over writting themselves etc et etc…………whats the solution.

I did that as per Apple Support:
To restore your missing calendars:
... did not work ... so I did the following as per Apple Support:
> System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud. Below Apps Using iCloud, click Show All or Show More Apps, then turn on Calendars. It was already "on"... so , I turned it off waited a few seconds, turned it back on .... and everything was restored.
It sounds very complicated but it work. Hope the same for you.
Yes, this is how all my previous entries look now, I had to recreate all new events by hand, and can only view previous months by weekly, I have deleted the calendar, restored different days, all same same.
Yaay!! Updated to Sequoia 15.1.1 today and my calendar has been restored to normal, just missing a couple months of past appointments I can restore from cloud. After a few hundred complaints Apple decided it was important and fixed it. I am happy.
