I use my 16 PM constantly and have never seen this issue, nor have I ever seen it on a store demo phone.

Because most iPhones do not exhibit this behavior at all.

If you don't want to reset it, make an appointment to have your phone examined, because it's not acting the way most iPhone 16s do.

If it's the YouTube app rather than Safari, contact them, their app is broken.

same problem here and is so anoying , Iphone 16 pro Max 512gb , hope is software issue and not hardware.

I have the 16 pro max and im also noticing the screen isnt very responsive when im scrolling i cant stop it

I’m having the same problems, the keyboard is slow with or without the screen protector, and when the screen protector is on, the backspace button doesn’t even work half the time

Same problem is with my iPhone 16 too. Unresponsive display, laggy keyboard response.

18.0.1 resolved all the touch responsiveness issues I had with my 16 pro max.

After locking screen and unlocking i am facing problems with screen

I am still without a screen protector. After the update removing the screen protector helped to a certain extent.

Even after the update, I kept having this issue. I had taken it to Apple several times. Replaced it under warranty and haven’t had the issue since. 🤞🏼

What kind of charger? Apple? MagSafe?

i don’t think apple with give you a new screen for free if you drop it and it breaks screen protectors should not be the cause I did the same but mine is still unresponsive in the corners
