two issues with my iPhone 16 pro max IOS 18:
1) keyboard lacks of responsiveness, oftentimes I have to double click when typing or It misses letters.
2) when searching for apps or contacts and using the swipe down function if starting a word with the letter «s», the search immediately disappears and spotlight shuts down.
what to do? Do I have a faulty device or is this an OS issue?

Problem fixed finally in iOS 18.3.2
Just bought it today ! March 2025 and I have the latest IOS but having the issue. Do you think better to return and buy another model?

Try disabling the predictive text in the keyboard settings. That made a HUGE improvement for me.
