I have recently updated to macOS Sequoia. When using Macintosh wallpaper (Macintosh Spectrum)and the new wallpaper have issue. It works for some time sand then It gets stuck at some point and works as a static wallpaper. Wallpaper will randomly stop moving even in screen saver or just going to to the log screen. Changing to different wallpaper and then setting it again make it work for some time, and the stucking continues...
I am facing the same issue. I like the wallpaper but whenever it stops moving dynamically and becomes a static wallpaper, I feel like why Apple even bothered to go to such extreme efforts to develop these things when they won't even work at all in the public release.
Apple please fix this!
I am running Sequoia 15.1.1 on a MacBook Pro (M2 Pro chip) with an attached Studio Display and when I choose the Sequoia screen saver (the latest one with blue, orange, and green gradations) the screen saver stops moving. This happens consistently and has done so well before upgrading the MacOS. It does not seem to happen when I choose any other screen saver, however.
15.1.1, still not fixed. Bugs in books app (india version). Bugs in App limits. Bugs everywhere. What to complain about?? They are fixated on the AI (Apple intelligence) and don't even care about any other thing.
I had no problems with Screensavers until now. Just bought a Benq 1440 display connected to M4 Mac mini with USB-C to DP cable and this is when the bug started. Before I got my new display my Mac was connected to a Sony TV via HDMI to HDMI and the Screensaver was OK. I don't know what's going on here.
A little more info:
MacOS: Sequoia (15.3.2).
Hardware: Mac MINI M4 Pro.
Screensaver: Macintosh.
This would work following a restart, then stop. I have discovered that having full screen apps will stop this screensaver working. Reducing these down to Fill (single screen) allows the screensaver to work. This also applies to the animated background. This is a shame as I quite like to pan to full-screen apps, rather than [Tab] between applications.
After a certain time it sometimes does the same thing for me, I simply unlock my Mac then it works fine
I have the same issue, and it's very frustrating. Hope apple fixes it soon!!
Same happens on mine. It works but like a silent picture rather than a video.
Your talking about the Screen Saver then. The question referred to Wallpaper.
I use a app for Screen Savers Aerial and Aerial Companion.

Well, I do experience the same issue again... But seems to happen less frequently than before.
And yes, this only works after 15.1 update and shutdown, power up

No!!! It's still unstable.
Doing a soft reboot via Shift Option Command Q seems to fix it temporarily but after some time it appears again
