Can't Redeem Apple Cash and apply to Statement

It used to be very simple to apply the earned Apple Cash to your Statement. Just select the REDEEM option and it happens immediately with a confirming notification and post to your account. this time nothing happens. It looks like something has, but nada. I tried the website card.apple.com and also called the Goldman help line. The Goldman agent tried to effect this Cash Redemption for me but also experienced the same thing - it initially looks like the transaction was successfully completed but upon refreshing, the Apple Cash is still sitting there waiting to be Redeemed. What's UP??

I have always applied my Apple Cash balance to my Apple Card payment using the following method:

I go through the Apple Card payment process, eventually getting to the payment method screen. If Apple Cash does not appear, I tap “>” to the right of my bank account method and add it there.

That’s how I did it too. But there are now several reports across social media platforms that certain features are missing. It appears to have been renamed Rewards & Offers.

It is part of the Wallet App. Just click on your Apple Card and then touch the "..." which will give you a drop down menu. Select "Daily Cash". You will see under the Heading "Daily Cash Election" the "Statement Credit" line with info on how much is "Available to Redeem" (with the amount you can redeem). Just touch the "Redeem". You will be asked to confirm your choice to credit your balance. You should receive (immediately) a push notification that the amount has been applied to your balance. Check your balance and you should see it there. Good luck.

Interesting, my app doesn’t have that option. There is no Daily Cash option. I have some older iPhones on older iOS versions and I’ll check those this evening and update this post.

The other thing I remember is the >Daily Cash< option was in the Apple Cash card. Daily Cash is gone (from both Apple Card and Apple Cash) and I’m not sure if that is a glitch or a thing that portends the future of Apple Cash and Apple Card.

Ah, OK. I see “Rewards & Offers” when I look at Apple Card in Wallet and tap the three circled dots in the upper right. From there, there’s a “Daily Cash Election” option where we can choose where to send the 1%, 2% or 3% rebate from Apple Card purchases. The choices I see are Apple Cash or Savings.

There are several (2?) posts in here and multiple on other social media platforms claiming features are missing. Not just a name change from Daily Cash to Rewards & Offers. I don’t know. Just seems odd the changes weren’t foretold in an email to avoid confusion.

I’ve been an Apple Card holder for over 5 years and ever remember a redeem option. Was this in the app on the iPhone or online?

Thanks for the heads up. I have an iPhone 13 Pro running IOS 17 I didn't think I was that out of date, but who knows. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
