When using my iPhone to pay for the NYC Transit (subways and buses) I have to swipe my phone and then use my thumbprint to verify and swipe again to pay. This extra step has caused me to miss trains. I'm not using Apple Pay, I have a credit card in my wallet. Is it possible to turn off this extra step? Any ideas or suggestions? FYI, my phone is an iPhone SE. TIA, Ron

To the best of my knowledge you have to use Apple Pay and Apple Wallet to bypass/avoid using the transit company app.
