Choice of savings or credit removed from Apple wallet

Looking at previous posts from June regarding this issue I notice that since the ios 18 upgrade none of my cards in the wallet will allow a choice of using Visa or Eftpos when using them. The default is Visa. I tried to remove the cards, restart the phone and reinstall but no change. I called my bank (ANZ) and they said nothing to do with them, it's an apple issue. But then searches show Apple saying that the cards have to be dual network debit cards. Any suggestions? Thanks
