Apple TV+ subscription not working

When I try to watch anything on my Android (using the browser, since Apple doesn't care for their customers enough to create a simple app), the tv.apple.com page shows banners and buttons offering me a free trial, even though my subscription is active and working well. If I try to go through the "subscribe" process it will even tell me that I already have ATV+ subscription active and throws me back to the previous page, I can't watch anything... Definitely will not renew the subscription after my free trial ends 🙄

I've tried to clear the cache on the chrome app, delete all site data and cookies, I even tried to install a new browser (Opera) and login on a fresh new browser, the same issue persists, so apparently it is not a specific browser problem, but a website problem...

Well, I've just confirmed that the site is broken on the desktop too. I have the exact same behavior on my computer.

Sorry to hear that. Most users seem to be able to use the site in Chrome or Firefox, even Edge I hear, on (somewhat modern) laptops and desktops. To me that suggests something in deviating settings?

I expect that the Apple Support staff may be able to suggest what to do to make it work there. Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.


A simply working streaming website would solve this issue.

I expect that some aspects of DRM may make it less simple.

Apple may not support browsers as well as you expected on non-computer devices (notably smart TVs and TV-connected streaming devices). Not sure what aspect makes computer browsers better suitable. As you already tried Chrome, try Firefox instead if you can, the other browser that Apple suggests.

The Apple TV app is supported on select smart TVs and third party streaming devices. The H96 Max may be untested or otherwise unapproved. Watch on these smart TVs and third party streaming devices - Apple Support

As I've said before, the problem happens on both, my "TV Box" AND my smartphone.and I've already tried to use a different browser on the phone (Chrome and Opera, both on my brand new Moto G85). I'll try Firefox as you suggested, but I'm very sceptical about it giving me a different outcome. I simply cannot use the service on my main streaming device, a simple Apple TV+ app on the Google playstore for Android devices would solve it so easily (or maybe a not broken websites. There are a lot of people reporting the exact same issue here for years now. Had to open a new discussion because I found several, unsolved, closed topics).

Well, I've just confirmed that the site is broken on the desktop too. I have the exact same behavior on my computer. Can't watch anything outside the "official apps" like a Playstation device, Amazon Firestick or Apple devices with a dedicated app.

A simply working streaming website would solve this issue.
