Delete old Pay addresses.

Reposting this question from another user in 2022:

So I understand you can change / update the addresses that Pay uses. I want to delete out the OLD addresses and options it gives me. I don’t want to see my address, my mom’s address OR my business address. I just want to see the ONE address.

Every reply and or answer to this is to go into iTunes and update, I just want to be clear that I do NOT want to update. I want to delete the other options when checking out with Pay via the computer or my phone. I don’t want to see the other options.

I know this was redundant, but i’m not sure how much more clear I can be. No one is answering this question properly. - IF this is something that cannot be done say so.

I am beyond frustrated because no matter how many times I select my residence as the default it continuously defaults to my previous place of work that I haven't worked at in 3 years and have animosity with. They get upset when items arrive there and instead of calling me to pick it up they return to sender and then I end up weeks out from delivery while the company I've ordered has to reprocess and email me for a different address. I need to be able to fully delete this address from the list.

Yes, I have already tried going the contact card route as well. There is only a way to add another address or update an address on a specific card. There is no way that I can find to delete old addresses.

If this is not possible to delete addresses, we need an update to offer this option. This has been a problem for years and it absolutely does not need to be.

Thanks in advance.

OK, check these three locations please;

Each card also has an address associated with the account. Please follow this path;

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses.

You’ll also need to update your information in the Apple Contacts app. Your information is in the >Me< card and should be updated, deleting old addresses and correctly labeling them.
