Adding a VISA Debit Card to Wallet / Apple Pay failed

It is not possible to add a VISA Debit Card from comdirect (Commerzbank) to Wallet Apple Pay, although the Bank / Credit Card Issuer explicitly allows using Apple Pay.

This is now the third VISA Card from comdirect that fails to be registered with Apple Pay! All other Credit and Debit Cards from 3 other Banks work perfectly fine with Apple Pay.

I wish more users would show which cards repeatedly don't work with Apple Pay, as I believe it's often not a technical issue, but something else.
