Apple Not accepting citi AT&T univ master card

My 20+ yo citi att card with no known issues is rejected by Apple Pay for ITunes purchases. Our Visa card works and the master card works for everything else.

when I added the MC to my wallet, the iPhone automatically reads the card info from the chip but I noticed the rejection in Apple Pay shows the wrong expiration date and I can’t find where to correct it

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18

Apple Pay is not used with iTunes.

If you added the cad to your Wallet app, then it used for Apple Pay, but not iTunes purchases.

If its getting rejected during an iTunes purchase, it has nothing to do with Apple Pay or the Wallet App.

For iTunes purchases, you should be able to correct the expiration date for it on your Apple Account's payment methods by following the steps in the support document linked below.
