iPhone Wallet with MagSafe says "Not Your Wallet"

I bought a new iPhone FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe last week from Apple and it connected with my phone and even showed up in FindMy app as one of my devices. However, it is now gone from the FindMy app and when I put it on my phone, I receive a dialogue saying "Not Your Wallet."


I tried the steps outlined in Apple Support document "About the iPhone Wallet with MagSafe," specifically the steps under the "If you can't set up your iPhone Wallet with MagSafe" paragraph, but nothing worked. It has only been under my Apple Account since purchase.


Before I call Apple Support, has anyone experienced this issue and been able to fix it?

Update: I restarted my iPhone (16) and the Wallet showed up listed as one of my devices, but with no location known. I then completed the "If you can't set up your iPhone Wallet with MagSafe" steps listed in the "About the iPhone Wallet with MagSafe" support document and a blank set-up window appeared and then disappeared. When I checked the FindMy app, my Wallet was now associated with my iPhone and showing location again.


I am not sure what I did in the first place to get to the "Not Your Wallet" dialogue, but I am good to go now. I do like the Wallet and the fact that you can track it if it disconnects.
