I used a qr code on the back of the gift card to add it to wallet. The gift card was in the bottom section of the wallet, but I’ve also noticed that my gym membership doesn’t stay loaded either. Darn, should’ve known better, I no longer have the actual gift card

Cards in Apple Wallet are added and controlled by the issuer of the membership or organization issuing/selling gift cards. If you log back into your account in the mobile app or website, you should be able to add the card again. If you encounter issues, please contact the issuers support team.
