Final Cut Pro lost jingles

They should not just suddenly disappear like that.

Delete preferences, try again.

They are located in two places.

FCP extra content installs them in-

Library > Audio > Apple Loops > iLife Sound Effects > Jingles

The iMovie app installs them in-

iMovie > Resources > iLife Sound Effects > Jingles

You can get inside of the iLife app by right-clicking and selecting Show Package Contents

Do you have iMovie installed?

Not sure what jingles you refer to.

Some sound effects are part of iMovie, and will appear in FCP just as long as you have iMovie installed.

The "Jingles" and other iMovie sound effects are stored in the iMovie app itself.

Control-click iMovie and select Show Package Contents.

Then navigate to Contents/Resources/iLife Sound Effects.
