Installer for Motion 5.4.7 on Intel Mac with Ventura

Hello, can anybody help me with an installer for Motion 5.4.7?

I need to use Motion vfx´s Mo2, which is still waiting for an update to current versions (and Silicone), and I could use it in this old version of Motion, if only I had it.

I do own a license for motion, but I cannot go back to older versions in the app store. I am on mac os Ventura, Intel machine.

Would be very very great!!!

I've been trying to track down a copy of Motion 5.4.7 for the same reason. I can't find anyone willing to share a copy. If you legally own Motion, getting an older copy is not illegal. But good luck.

Yes, MotionVFX is rewriting mo2 to be mo3, a totally new product. And it's been well over a year we've been waiting. I've stopped holding my breath for it. I'm having doubts they'll ever get it working.

You could get an older version via the app store by trying to install Motion on an older version of the OS. For example (not sure which these will download), if you can install something like Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey and then try to install Motion, it won't install the latest version, it will install the most recent supported version to that OS from the app store.

FWIW, I always archive the apps when a new release comes out for situations just like this. I make a .dmg with FCP, Motion, Compressor. If for some random reason a specific build I can always get it. This is a good idea to do with lots of creative software when you can.

If you don't have a copy backed-up, this is going to be your best way to get an older version
