iphone 16 pro - assistivetouch button remaining in the middle of the screen after rotating the phone to landscape when watching videos

whenever i want to watch videos on my iphone 16 pro and i rotste it to landscape, the assistivetouch button remains in the middle of the screen and doesn’t move to the edge. is there any way i can fix this issue or will i have to wait for an update to address this?
