I recently changed my phone yesterday and from an iPhone 11 to a 11 Pro Max and since the 18 update I’ve been able to hide my apps but after changing the phone to my 11 pro max the hidden apps options is not there when I press and hold on the apps. But there is a hidden app category. Any help will be good! TY

Is Screen Time or Parental Controls or Focus mode enabled, or are there any management profiles loaded?
Confirm this is iOS 18.1, and not a beta, as well.
i had the same thing too but i turned off focus/do not disturb mode and it came back (sorry for my bad english)
I had the same problem but then I tried to do it in the app library and it worked

So to confirm, your iPhone or iPad is updated to current iOS 18.2.1, and have disabled Focus, Parental Controls, and Screen Time, and are using your own iPhone and not using an iPhone managed by somebody else, such as by parents or guardians or an IT group, and are not finding the hidden folder?
Try to contact Apple on this one.
They can help more then us users.

Okay, and what sort of management profile? Carrier Wi-Fi network profile? Or a managed or supervised profile listed in VPNs and device management? Or something else?
I’ve got no screen time or device management settings on so I also dk. Guess I’ll contact Apple

I’m the end I actually did not bother and it just randomly came back on. I assume it was a bug from 18.1
