Apple Watch Ultra 1 not detecting underwater activity

My Apple Watch Ultra does not detect that I am underwater. When opening the depth or Oceanic+ App and go underwater it does not detect that. This worked fine before. I was putting the Watch in a depth of 20cm the app auto launched and showed me the depth. Now its not working anymore. The Watch has already been fully reset and still doesn't work. Any idea why this might be happening?

Which version of Oceanic+ are you using? Have you updated to the latest version (3.0.3) release yesterday, November 6, 2024? Have you talked to their support team? If so, what did they say?

I really hate to pick on software companies, but in all honesty, this app seems very buggy to me. However, I do need to share that their support teams has always been very responsive in my personal opinion.

No.. that is the whole point of the post. It doesn't detect when it is submerged. Doesn't do it automatically despite the "auto-launch" feature activated with the default Depth app nor even when the app is manually launched. The message "submerged your watch" continues to be displayed despite the watch being underwater.
