I’m trying to use Apple Cash to set up a monthly crypto purchase via Kraken. However, this gets rejected as a “restricted merchant.” This is a legal purchase in the US — why am I not allowed to do this? Is there some way to rectify this? Thanks.

The merchant is falling into a restricted category such as gambling, recreational marijuana, adult entertainment, cigarette sales, and many others including cryptocurrency brokers. The bank or Payment Network Operator, Visa, is blocking the transaction.
