Apple Watch Ultra 2 Always On with Sleep focus

My wife and i both have Apple Watch 2 Ultra's I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max she has an iPhone 12 Pro Max

On my iPhone i have sleep - work and personal focus set

I had no focus set on hers and discovered it did not track sleep that way so I enabled sleep mode and set a schedule

BUT On my AW the always on display (AOD) is always on even in sleep mode.

On hers it goes blank at night (on sleep mode) AND to top it off when not on sleep mode AOD still goes blank.

I have looked at all the settings and compared them but cannot find out why?

Unless it is due to her older iphone (It doess have iOS 18.1 on it)

The only way to get her AOD to work is delete modes and restart her iPhone
