AppleWatch haptic waking me up to tell me that it could not update watchOS

I wear my AppelWatch every night to track sleep. When I do this I manually turn on/off the sleep focus mode which I have configured to prevent any notifications except for family members reaching me in case of emergency.

Following each new release of WatchOS I somewhat randomly receive late night haptics from my Apple watch, waking me from a sound sleep mind you, letting me know that the watchOS update was not installed because the watch was not connected to power. I have no idea how these notifications are making it to the point where I receive a haptic. My focus mode permits only specific individuals in my contact list to reach me. Very frustrating that Apple advertises the fact that their watch can be used for sleep monitoring but doesn't have the sense to make sure the watch doesn't wake us up to let us know that the watch is connected to power when we are asleep.

On the off chance that I am missing some setting, has anyone experienced this and somehow stopped it?

Yes, I have submitted feedback to Apple, multiple times, spanning several years. Assuming they have not hidden a remedy, they seem to be paying no attention.
