Will USA Apple Watch S10 cellular work in Italy?

Hello, I’m currently living overseas in Italy and am able to purchase a US Apple Watch with cellular.

I have Italy’s Vodafone carrier plan on my iPhone currently but want to know if I’d encounter any issues trying to use a US Apple Watch (cellular + GPS) with my Italian phone plan. Any ideas?

I see that Vodafone has the “Vodafone OneNumber” offer which allows a user to share the same # with both their iPhone and Apple Watch series 3 and above. However, will the internal cellular components of the US watch differ from the EU one, causing connectivity issues to Italian towers? My unlocked iPhone certainly has no issues but not sure about the watches.

You should contact your Italian carrier, they should know if the different LTE bands are supported:

You may have warranty service or limited warranty service. Service will probably be limited to Apple Retail Store, as third party providers may refuse service. Here’s a map of Apple Retail Stores in Italy.

Warranty will be valid in the U.S., not Italy.

The U.S. O2 sensor restriction will not go away went the watch leaves the U.S.
