Changes to the swim app made it less user friendly.

Watch OS 11 has become less user friendly. When I pause my swim to take a drink, I can't simply press the side buttons to resume anymore. Instead, I must clear the water out then press resume on the screen. When I resume, the watch does not go back into the wet mode and require a clean out, which defeats the purpose of the water clean out. After I'm done, I have to manually put the watch into the wet mode and then clear the water. Can apple restore the swim app to be more user friendly?
