Unable to highlight text with my Mouse connected to iMac.
Frustrated with my mouse. I can't highlight text. Ive been through all the settings and can't figure what the problem is
Can anyone recommend a solution to this?

Make sure you are using the right and click properly and the settings have set it up the way you expect.
I have some inexpensive old wired mice around in a box, you can get one of those fairly inexpensively and try it to see if your mouse is just broken. In which case the solution is easy, buy a new mouse.
