Logic audio browser appears jumbled

It seems no matter how I set my Finder file sorting, or the sorting within Logic, any folders or search results in the 'All Files' audio browser appear in a strange order. They're almost sorted alpha-numerically, but with certain files out of order. On top of this, any search results I click on to preview the audio immediately jump to the bottom of the list once I've clicked on them. I've had this issue on and off over the years, and it's just come back. I feel like there must be a simple solution but I have no idea what it is! Any ideas?
