Apple Intelligence Proofread does not underline or highlight mistakes

When using Proofread, it detects mistakes but it will not underline or highlight those mistakes in the text.

But it seems something is indeed wrong, because here on an Apple page, it states "Apple Intelligence checks your text for grammatical and spelling errors. All changes are underlined with a glowing line." Using Pages, when I choose Proofread, the Proofread box opens to the side of the document and as the text appears there seems to be a quick flash of a glow over the entire text but the glow does not stay, and nowhere is there any underlined text.

Yes, that is the problem! Apple states that it should. What is the point if it doesn't? How can you accept changes you don't know it made? On iOS it does indicate what changes need to be made and displays an explanation of why. On Mac OS you get nothing. I do not believe this is what Apple intended. It needs to be addressed by Apple. I have already given feedback for this issue. Also, why when the pop-up window displays does it overlay the text you are proofreading? Another shortcoming on Apples part. Not to mention you can't even move the window out of the way.
