How can I decrease the width of columns in Notes?

I want to decrease the width of some of my columns in notes. I can increase the width size but I am having trouble making them smaller. As I’m making a small costing note it would also be amazing if I could have the numbers line up vertically automatically like a small spreadsheet.

Thank you

You have 2 options. Either you attach the Numbers file in your note (but you’ll only see the link in the note, not the actual table), or you copy the table in Numbers (tap the “concentric circles” icon in the top left corner of the table) and paste it into your note (where you’ll actually see the table, instead of a link.)

The nice thing about solution #2 is that the column widths defined in Numbers are preserved in your note.
