How to FIX the message that a Helper app isn’t available in Garageband

This happened to me when I had just finished recording in GarageBand. I did what I usually do and hit share to Apple Music expecting it to render it into an MP4 file or whatever. Instead, I got that scary pop-up, and I couldn’t figure out why ,..but then I remembered that it first asked me the question “Did I want to share between apps etc”, and I said no because I thought it was trying to share my data with other apps and I misunderstood what it wanted. Then it just wouldn’t work after that. But the solution is a pretty easy fix. You just have to go to system settings, then look for “privacy and security”, and go there, then you have to hunt through there a little bit and find your way to GarageBand in that area. When I finally found it, there was a little toggle switch on the right that was turned off, probably because of my negative answer the first time because I misunderstood what it wanted. So I hit the toggle switch and pushed it to the right and then it tells you that you have to quit GarageBand to make this work and take affect. So I did. And as soon as I logged back in and tried to send my song to Apple Music it worked just fine. I hope this helps people, because there’s an awful lot of us and it seems like there was no response to help anyone…but I don’t get full credit because I went out on the net and looked in other places for an answer, and I found one. Lol. I am just trying to pass this on to help you all. Hope this works for everyone. Good luck 👍🏻
