I'm trying to play dashcam files that QuickTime is showing as .ts files. My rear camera which is 1080p files are playing correctly, but my front cam (4k) are also showing as .ts files but only playing the audio portion of the file.

What does MediaInfo or Invisor report about the video codec specs? I can readily play downloaded sample .ts movies with Sequoia QuickTime Player.
I can play .ts files that are 1080p but not 4k .ts files.
