Geniatech invalidated my original activation key of EYETV 4

Just updated my 2020 Mac Mini to a 2024 Mini Pro and after restore backup

Geniatech invalidated my activation key with this Alert message:

Your activation key

“XXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXXX”

has been invalidated. Enter a new activation key above. If you find this to be an error, please contact Geniatech Customer Service.

I'm very tired because this is the thir time that I change the Mac and for two times I buy a key

A dishonest practice

Theri is not any other software like this for Mac to see DTT TV

I buy the EyeTV 3 the EYETV 4 and a new stick of Elgato TV receiver, the tragedy is that is impossible to buy because this dishonest people accept only PAYPAL and when you put a credit card procedure stops.

Send four messages to assistance and no answer yet.

I understand the frustration, but this is not an Apple issue. You will need to continue to work on this problem with Elgato support. I'm not sure where this Geniatech comes into the picture as, unless things have changed very recently, Elgato is a subsidiary of Corsair Gaming which is also a US company.

Yes, I know what an EyeTV is. But again, Elgato is owned by Corsair, not by Geniatech. So it is Elgato you need to be contacting for support unless they tell you that Geniatech provides support for Elgato products in your country, and looking at both company's websites, I don't see anything to indicate that to be the case.

Either way, this is not an Apple issue and none of us here can provide any assistance with software licensing.

PS: Elgato was an American company, after it pass to Geniatech Ltd that now is a chinese group, it get from Shenzen

EYETV 4 is an Elgato product like the "eyetv" usb stick tuner. Geniatech Ltd take the EYETV product and assistance. Today Geniatech is named Shenzen Geniatech.
