YouTube stopped working with Safari

Curiously YouTube has partially stopped working on my MacBook Pro Ventura through Safari. I am not receiving Notifications neither can I access my profile settings, the popups are just blank with the loading rotating circle. It was working one day and then stopped, I have not changed anything! Also YouTube settings popup is blank.

I can play the videos displayed.

Oddly I can access everything normally through Chrome!

Action taken so far:

Cleared Cache etc

Restarted Macbook

Checked Safari settings

Completely mystified, any help welcome.

I noticed the same thing. What worked for me, while on the youtube website, click on the "More options" in the urlbar: its the small icon in the far right of urlbar. At the bottom of the popup options, click on "Website settings...", then in the next set of popup options, un-check the option "Enable content blockers...". The site should refresh itself and the Profile settings for youtube should display. This, at least, worked for me.

I had this exact problem happen yesterday. I tried all the same actions including the "Website settings..." one recommended by ph1tr0n. None worked. What did work for me was deleting a ton of ad-related (and other junk) cookies/cache info via the Preferences->Privacy tab's "Manage Website Data..." button. It took a while for them all to load, but then I just waded through and judiciously deleted the ones I didn't recognize. You could Remove All if you don't mind losing this information for other websites. Anyway, I can't tell you exactly which one(s) did the trick, but YouTube's comments, notifications, list of playlists, and profile menu items are all appearing without any spinning swirl.
