add instruments to mp3file
I have a mp3 file with a piano melody. Can I add more instruments to this file in Garage Band?

Only if you can play them.
An MP3 is just an audio recording. GB can load this recording onto a track and allow you to add more tracks, but what goes on those tracks is totally up to you. It can't automagically change a recording of a piano into a recording of an oboe.
