How do you access user tips?
I know how to create them but how do you access them?
Can you view them as a list of titles?

To access your own user tips, go to your Subscriptions page and set the filters to "User Tips" under Type.
To see other's user tips, there no longer is a dedicated list.
You can go to the "Browse" page of the forums, and then set the filter to "User Tips"
Either he follows you or the forum you created the tip in and was notified of it, or he had his listing set to User Tips for whatever reason.
Joe has acknowledged the tips are not as visible as they should be and are working on making them more accessible.
Also, the main page for the Communities does have a Featured Tips section where some highlighted tips are listed from all forum sections and also has a link to the "Browse" page with the User Tips filter turned on.
So what is the point?
Surely in the FCP forum etc. all the appropriate tips should be there for users to browse.
You can only use a tip if you can see it.
The whole point of a tip is for somebody to say, "Have you tried this or that?" To give you ideas you may never have thought about.
I created a tip and Luis spotted it within minutes. How?
I created a couple of user tips a long time ago. They just seemed to disappear into the mist, so to speak. So I stopped.
If you click on somebody's User Name you get a "profile" overview and an option to Follow. Luis probably follows you.
Thanks Phil and all.
Ideally there would be a prominent link labeled "FCP User Tips" in this forum that would give access to all the available FCP tips.
Then newcomers and others could browse through and find something they had never thought about doing. I tend to do that with YouTube but it's very hit and miss.
What I described above sounds a simple idea to someone like me who knows nothing about creating forums but I suspect it's not as easy as it appears.
I received the tip in my e-mail. I just assumed it was somehow tagged with FCP, since I subscribe to the forum.
